Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Fitness Instructor, and Founder of The Homegirl Collective
Monika Pierce is a certified holistic nutritionist, fitness instructor, and founder of The Homegirl Collective, where she blends strategic wellness coaching with deep cultural insight to guide Black women toward liberation and holistic wellbeing. She holds an M.A. in Business Management and a B.A. in Liberal Arts, and is a Certified Birth Doula, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and AFPA Certified Holistic Nutritionist. With over 16 years of experience spanning wellness coaching, community leadership, and organizational strategy, Monika brings a rare combination of heart-led coaching and executive-level rigor to her work.
Today, her focus is rooted in whole-person healing — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Monika specializes in sisterhood-centered coaching, self-love and boundary work, and transformational wellness for women navigating life's transitions. Through The Homegirl Collective, she has built a virtual community that has uplifted and empowered women through unapologetic coaching and real transformation. Her influence extends beyond the Collective as founding Head Coach for Halle Berry's Respin Health, and through her celebrated tenure at WeightWatchers, where she served as the first Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion and played an integral role in launching initiatives such as Oprah's 2020 Vision Tour, and partnerships with the American Heart Association, Delta Sigma Theta, and Essence Festival of Culture that reached thousands of women across the United States and beyond.
Monika's coaching philosophy is simple: heal the whole person, honor the journey, and empower every woman to reclaim her power, peace, and rest.
Outside of coaching, Monika hosts elaborate and intimate dinners, mentors emerging leaders, and spends time with family, dedicated to living out the same balance of connection, self-care, and community she brings to her work.
